Application and curing guidance
Surface preparation: Thoroughly wash and chemically decontaminate the vehicle before application. Carry out paint correction where necessary, then remove polishing oils and residues using an appropriate degreasing wash. Ensure the paintwork is completely dry and apply GYEON Q²M Prep. Wait 15 minutes before proceeding.
Application: Shake the bottle and apply a generous amount of Q² One EVO to the supplied coating applicator. Working on cool, dust-free paintwork, spread the product evenly across the panel or section. The application pattern is less important than achieving consistent coverage and properly levelling the coating.
Removal: Wipe off the coating within approximately 10–30 seconds using a clean, suitable microfibre cloth. Carefully inspect the surface under good lighting and remove any remaining streaks or high spots. In warm or humid conditions, adjust your working area and removal time accordingly.
Layering: One layer is sufficient for the coating’s intended performance. If applying an additional layer, allow at least one hour between applications.
Initial drying: Keep the vehicle dry and protected from rain or water for the first 12 hours after application. Do not expose the coating to direct sunlight during application.
Early maintenance: Avoid washing the vehicle with strong detergents during the first 14 days. This initial drying period should not be confused with the coating’s continuing curing and stabilisation process.
Ongoing maintenance: Wash regularly using a suitable pH-neutral car shampoo. GYEON Q²M Cure or Q²M WetCoat may be used as maintenance products to support water repellency.
