Description
ADBL Scrub Bar is a compact, double-sided microfibre cleaning pad designed to provide extra agitation when tackling stubborn dirt across your car interior. Its coarse microfibre structure helps dislodge contamination from the surface, improving the effectiveness of your chosen interior cleaner without requiring a conventional detailing brush.
Measuring just 13 × 8 × 2.5 cm, Scrub Bar is easy to hold and manoeuvre into smaller or awkward areas. It can be used across a wide range of interior materials, including fabric upholstery, headliners, leather, plastic and rubber, making it a versatile addition to both enthusiast and professional detailing kits.
Why choose ADBL Scrub Bar?
- Coarse microfibre construction – helps loosen and dislodge stubborn dirt during interior cleaning.
- Double-sided design – gives you two working surfaces in one compact cleaning tool.
- Suitable for multiple interior materials – ADBL specifies use on headliners, fabric upholstery, leather, plastic and rubber.
- Compact 13 × 8 cm format – easy to control and useful for reaching areas where larger cleaning tools become awkward.
- Improves cleaner performance – provides mechanical agitation to help your chosen detailing chemical tackle more stubborn contamination.
- Machine washable – can be washed using a dedicated microfibre detergent such as ADBL Micro Wash Storm.
- Reusable detailing tool – designed to be cleaned after use and returned to your interior detailing kit.
How to use
Vacuum the area first where appropriate, particularly when working on fabric upholstery and carpets.
Apply a suitable interior cleaner according to the chemical manufacturer’s instructions.
Gently work the treated surface with ADBL Scrub Bar, using controlled movements to allow the coarse microfibres to loosen the contamination.
Avoid applying unnecessary pressure. Let the combination of cleaner and microfibre agitation do the work.
Remove the loosened dirt and cleaning residue with a clean microfibre towel or follow the required rinsing or extraction procedure for the cleaner you’re using.
Regularly inspect the Scrub Bar during cleaning. Once it becomes heavily contaminated, rinse or replace it with a clean tool rather than continuing to spread dirt across the surface.
After use, wash the Scrub Bar thoroughly and allow it to dry before storage.
ADBL confirms that Scrub Bar can also be machine washed using ADBL Micro Wash Storm microfibre detergent.
Prestige Detailing Tips
Scrub Bar is particularly useful when a microfibre towel alone isn’t providing enough agitation but you don’t necessarily need the concentrated action of a detailing brush.
The choice of cleaner should still depend on the material you’re working on. Scrub Bar provides the mechanical cleaning action; it doesn’t make one chemical suitable for every surface.
For general plastic, vinyl and rubber interior cleaning, ADBL Interior Cleaner makes a logical partner.
For fabric upholstery and headliners, ADBL Bonnet provides another useful combination. ADBL itself pairs Bonnet and Scrub Bar as a textile-cleaning system: vacuum first, apply Bonnet, work the surface with Scrub Bar and then remove the loosened contamination with a microfibre towel.
Take extra care with headliners. Although ADBL explicitly lists them as a suitable Scrub Bar application, avoid saturating the material with cleaner or aggressively scrubbing the surface. Headliners can be more sensitive than conventional seat fabric because of the layers and adhesive beneath the visible material.
Likewise, ADBL approves Scrub Bar for leather, but we’d still begin gently and test an inconspicuous area first, particularly on older or more delicate upholstery. The coarse microfibres are there to improve cleaning action, not to justify excessive pressure.
The compact dimensions are one of Scrub Bar’s biggest advantages. At 13 × 8 × 2.5 cm, it’s small enough to work into areas where a large scrub mitt or conventional cleaning tool can become cumbersome.
Keep separate Scrub Bars for particularly different jobs if you use them professionally. A pad repeatedly used on heavily contaminated plastics or rubber isn’t necessarily the one we’d immediately reach for when cleaning a customer’s leather seat.
Finally, wash it properly. ADBL specifically confirms that Scrub Bar can be machine washed with ADBL Micro Wash Storm, making it much easier to remove accumulated cleaner and contamination and prepare it for the next job.
