Description
ADBL One Shot Tire Pad is a compact foam applicator designed to make applying tyre dressings quicker, cleaner and more consistent. Its 7 × 5 × 2.5 cm size makes it easy to hold while working around the sidewall of a tyre.
Made from medium-hard foam with low absorbency, the applicator helps spread your chosen tyre dressing evenly across the rubber rather than unnecessarily soaking up the product. It’s a simple but useful addition to any wheel and tyre detailing kit.
Why choose ADBL One Shot Tire Pad?
- Designed for tyre dressings – provides a simple way to spread liquid and cream dressing products across the tyre sidewall.
- Low-absorbency foam – helps keep more of your tyre dressing on the working surface rather than disappearing into the applicator.
- Medium-hard construction – provides enough structure to make application easy and controlled.
- Even application – helps distribute dressing consistently across the tyre.
- Compact dimensions – the 7 × 5 × 2.5 cm format fits comfortably in the hand.
- Useful beyond tyre care – ADBL also recommends the One Shot Tire Pad for applying Blackouter to unpainted exterior plastic trim.
How to use
Make sure the tyre sidewall is thoroughly cleaned and appropriately dry before applying your chosen dressing.
Apply a small amount of tyre dressing to the ADBL One Shot Tire Pad rather than flooding the applicator with product.
Work the dressing evenly around the tyre sidewall, using the foam to spread a thin, consistent layer across the rubber.
Add more product to the pad only when necessary.
Once you’ve covered the entire sidewall, follow the instructions for your chosen tyre dressing regarding drying time, additional coats or removal of excess product.
Avoid applying tyre dressing to the tyre tread or braking components.
Prestige Detailing Tips
Preparation makes a considerable difference to the final result. Applying a dressing over a dirty tyre can result in an uneven finish and prevent the product from performing as intended, so thoroughly clean the rubber first.
Don’t overload the applicator. A small amount of dressing spread evenly generally gives you much better control than saturating the foam and trying to remove the excess afterwards.
Pay particular attention around raised lettering and textured sidewalls, where excess dressing can accumulate. Work the pad across these areas carefully to achieve an even finish.
One Shot Tire Pad can also be useful outside tyre care. ADBL specifically recommends it as an applicator for ADBL Blackouter, making it a convenient option for treating unpainted exterior plastic trim as well as rubber sidewalls.
If you regularly detail multiple vehicles or simply want several applicators available for different products, Prestige Detailing also stocks the ADBL One Shot Tire Pad Megapack containing 10 pads.
