Description
ADBL Quick Wax is an easy-to-apply spray wax designed to give automotive paintwork a deep, wet-look finish while adding strong hydrophobic protection. Its blend of waxes and polymers makes it a convenient alternative when you want the gloss and water behaviour of a traditional wax without the longer application process.
Quick Wax can be used as standalone protection on clean paintwork or applied over an existing wax or sealant as an additional protective layer. Its fast application makes it particularly useful for maintaining a well-detailed vehicle between more intensive protection treatments.
Why choose ADBL Quick Wax?
- Fast spray-wax protection – adds protection without the application process associated with a traditional hard wax.
- Excellent gloss – designed to leave paintwork with a deep, wet-look finish.
- Strong hydrophobicity – creates pronounced water-repellent behaviour on treated paint.
- Wax and polymer formula – combines traditional wax ingredients with synthetic polymers.
- Standalone or maintenance use – works directly on paint or as an additional layer over an existing wax or sealant.
- Quick hardening – ADBL uses a newer generation of emulsifiers to provide straightforward application and rapid setting.
- Simple application – spray onto dry paintwork and buff with a clean microfibre.
- Blueberry fragrance – adds ADBL’s distinctive blueberry scent to the application process.
How to use
Wash the vehicle thoroughly and ensure the paintwork is clean and dry before application.
Shake ADBL Quick Wax before use.
Lightly spray the product onto the dry paintwork.
Spread and buff the product with a clean, soft microfibre towel until the surface is clear and evenly finished.
Work systematically around the vehicle, treating manageable sections rather than unnecessarily covering large areas at once.
Avoid excessive application. If too much Quick Wax has been applied, use a second clean and dry microfibre towel to remove the excess and complete the final buff.
Store the product in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight. ADBL specifies a storage temperature between 5°C and 25°C.
Prestige Detailing Tips
Quick Wax makes particular sense when you want more than a conventional quick detailer but don’t want to go through a traditional hard-wax application.
That’s also the main distinction we’d make between ADBL QD1 and Quick Wax. QD1 is particularly useful for refreshing paint, removing very light contamination and boosting gloss between washes. Quick Wax is more firmly focused on laying down wax-and-polymer protection, gloss and hydrophobicity.
Preparation still matters. Although Quick Wax is exceptionally easy to apply, spraying it over dirty or poorly prepared paint isn’t going to give you the same result as applying it after a proper safe wash.
Don’t overapply it either. A light, controlled application is all that’s required. If you’ve used too much, ADBL specifically recommends bringing in a second clean, dry microfibre to complete the buff.
Quick Wax can also be used to maintain an existing wax or sealant. This makes it particularly useful when the underlying protection is still performing but you’d like to refresh its gloss and water behaviour without starting the protection process again from scratch.
You don’t necessarily need to reapply Quick Wax after every wash. ADBL advises that if the protection is still visibly working and producing good water beading, reapplication isn’t necessary.
When washing a vehicle protected with Quick Wax, we’d favour a wax-safe, pH-neutral pre-wash and shampoo routine. ADBL specifically recommends neutral foams such as Yeti or Yeti Pearl for maintaining Quick Wax-treated vehicles.
Finally, keep your application microfibre clean. A soft towel such as ADBL Pinky is well suited to this kind of work, and having a second clean towel nearby makes final buffing considerably easier if you’ve been a little generous with the product.
