How to use

For best results, start with a cool glass surface away from direct sunlight.

Fold ADBL G into quarters. This gives you several clean working faces and makes the towel easier to control.

Apply your chosen glass cleaner according to its instructions, then wipe the glass methodically to remove fingerprints, grease and other contamination.

Turn or refold the towel as it becomes damp or dirty rather than continuing to spread dissolved contamination across the glass.

For particularly demanding glass, consider using a two-towel method: use one towel for the initial cleaning pass and a second clean, dry ADBL G for the final buff.

After use, wash the towel using a dedicated microfibre detergent. Avoid fabric softener, which can coat the fibres and negatively affect their cleaning and absorbency.

Keep your glass towels for glass – and nothing else.

One of the easiest ways to end up with smeared windows is to grab a microfibre that was previously used to buff wax, quick detailer, interior dressing or another detailing product.

Even after washing, unwanted residues can compromise the finish you’re trying to achieve.

We recommend keeping a few ADBL G towels exclusively for automotive glass.

And if streaks are driving you mad, try the two-towel method: use your first towel to clean the glass and a second completely dry towel for the final buff.

There’s another simple trick for spotting where a streak is hiding: wipe interior glass horizontally and exterior glass vertically. If you see a streak afterwards, its direction immediately tells you which side of the window needs another pass.
