GYEON Q²M Cure REDEFINED is an SiO₂-based maintenance spray designed to protect, maintain and enhance ceramic-coated paintwork.
Applied to an existing coating, Q²M Cure REDEFINED reinforces its hydrophobic properties while adding noticeable slickness and gloss. Regular use can help maintain the behaviour customers expect from their ceramic coating while providing an additional sacrificial layer between the coating and everyday environmental contamination.
But Cure has another particularly useful role. It can be applied shortly after a GYEON ceramic coating to provide additional protection during the coating’s initial curing period. This helps reduce the risk of mineral water spots developing while the underlying coating is still vulnerable.
The REDEFINED formula also improves usability over its predecessor, with easier application and wipe-off making it particularly well suited to regular coating maintenance.
Q²M Cure REDEFINED can be applied to either wet or dry paintwork, allowing it to function as both a conventional maintenance spray and a convenient drying aid.
Prestige Detailing Tips
- On a fully cured ceramic coating, apply a light mist of Q²M Cure REDEFINED to a clean microfibre towel or directly to a small section of paintwork before spreading it evenly and buffing away any excess.
- Don’t over-apply it. A small amount is sufficient, and using too much product can make the final wipe unnecessarily difficult.
- Q²M Cure REDEFINED can also be used on a wet vehicle as a drying aid. This is a convenient way to introduce additional slickness and hydrophobicity during a regular maintenance wash.
- Cure is particularly useful immediately after applying a compatible GYEON ceramic coating. Used at the appropriate point in that coating’s application process, it can provide additional protection against water spotting during the vulnerable early curing period.
- Using Cure does not eliminate the underlying coating’s curing restrictions. Continue to observe all water-avoidance, washing, chemical-exposure and full-curing instructions specified for the ceramic coating you have applied.
- For regular coated-car maintenance, pair Q²M Cure REDEFINED with a suitable shampoo such as GYEON Q²M Bathe. If the coating has become clogged with contamination and lost some of its original behaviour, GYEON Q²M Restart Wash may be the better starting point.
- Cure is a maintenance product rather than a substitute for proper coating preparation or application. On an uncoated vehicle, it can still provide useful gloss and hydrophobic behaviour, but its primary role is maintaining ceramic protection.
