Description
Removed the sticker – but left half the adhesive behind?
ADBL GRR is a specialist glue and adhesive residue remover designed to dissolve stubborn, dried adhesives and rubber residues from vehicle surfaces.
Its advanced solvent formula breaks down difficult adhesive contamination, while its stable, non-drip consistency helps the product remain exactly where you apply it. The aerosol can and precision dispenser also make it easier to target small areas without unnecessarily covering the surrounding surface.
Particularly useful after removing stickers, vehicle graphics, badges, adhesive wheel weights and PPF, ADBL GRR takes on the sticky jobs that ordinary cleaners simply weren’t designed to handle.
Perfect if…
- You’ve removed a sticker but the glue has decided to stay permanently attached to the car – GRR is specifically formulated to break down adhesive residue.
- Old badges or emblems have left stubborn adhesive behind – target the remaining glue without repeatedly scraping at the surface.
- You’re removing vehicle graphics or advertising stickers – GRR can significantly speed up the process of dealing with the adhesive left underneath.
- Adhesive wheel weights have left residue on your rims – ADBL specifically identifies wheel-weight adhesive as one of GRR’s intended applications.
- You’ve removed PPF and discovered glue underneath – GRR is designed to tackle residual adhesive following film removal.
- The adhesive is old, dry and seemingly determined to outlive the vehicle – its solvent formula is intended specifically for difficult, aged glue.
Why choose ADBL GRR?
- Dedicated adhesive remover – formulated specifically for glue and rubber residue.
- Works on old adhesive – designed to depolymerise stubborn, dried glue rather than merely soften fresh residue.
- Stable, non-drip consistency – stays on the targeted area longer instead of immediately running down the panel.
- Precision aerosol application – makes it easier to apply the product exactly where it’s needed.
- Useful after sticker removal – ideal for decals, labels, graphics and other adhesive-backed products.
- Suitable for detailing and workshop jobs – particularly useful around badges, wheel weights and protective-film removal.
- Highly concentrated application – a small aerosol format intended for targeted adhesive-removal work rather than indiscriminate spraying.
How to use
Apply the product directly onto the adhesive residue you want to remove.
Allow it to work for approximately 10–15 minutes. The stable consistency helps GRR remain on the contaminated area while the solvents break down the adhesive.
Once the glue has softened, either:
- rinse the dissolved adhesive away using pressurised water; or
- carefully collect the softened residue using a suitable microfibre towel.
On appropriate flat surfaces, ADBL also recommends using a suitable squeegee to help remove the softened adhesive.
Once the residue has been removed, degrease the treated surface thoroughly.
Repeat the process if necessary.
IMPORTANT: GRR is a powerful solvent-based product. Always test it on a small, inconspicuous area before use to ensure compatibility with the surface you’re treating.

Prestige Detailing Tip
Give GRR time to do the ugly work for you.
The instinct when faced with stubborn adhesive is often to start aggressively rubbing, scraping or picking at it.
Don’t.
Apply GRR and give the product its recommended 10–15 minutes of dwell time so the solvent can begin breaking down the adhesive.
Once the glue has softened, removal becomes considerably easier and you reduce the temptation to attack the surface mechanically.
And this is one product where we’d absolutely follow ADBL’s advice to test first in an inconspicuous area. Different paints, plastics, films and refinished surfaces can react differently to powerful solvents.
