Description
GYEON Q²M Polish 80 mm is a compact, medium-cut foam polishing pad designed for paint correction and refinement on smaller panels, tighter areas and more intricate sections of bodywork.
Sitting between the more aggressive Q²M Cut and softer Q²M Finish pads, Q²M Polish provides a useful balance between defect removal and final refinement. That makes it particularly versatile when dealing with light-to-moderate imperfections or refining paint after a heavier cutting stage.
The 80 mm format allows that same approach to be carried into areas where a larger polishing pad becomes difficult to manoeuvre – including pillars, bumpers and smaller sections around complex bodywork.
Depending on the paint system and polish used, Q²M Polish can form part of a multi-stage correction or provide the basis of a lighter one-step polishing combination where substantial cutting power isn’t required.
Supplied as a 2-pack, the pads can also be rotated during longer polishing sessions, helping maintain more consistent performance as the foam becomes loaded with polish and removed paint residue.
Prestige Detailing Tips
- Use it for balanced correction: Q²M Polish is a useful choice when you need more defect removal than a finishing pad can provide without immediately stepping up to an aggressive cutting pad.
- For a versatile polishing combination, pair the pad with GYEON Q²M Compound where additional correction is required.
- For lighter refinement, pair the pad with GYEON Q²M Polish and assess the result on a test section before completing the vehicle.
- If deeper defects remain, step up to Q²M Cut or HeavyCut rather than repeatedly overworking the same area with an insufficiently aggressive combination.
- If the correction stage leaves the paint requiring greater final refinement, step down to Q²M Finish for maximum clarity and gloss.
- Always use an appropriately sized backing plate and compatible polishing machine with an 80 mm pad.
- Pay particular attention around edges, curves and body lines. Smaller pads offer excellent precision but concentrate polishing action over a smaller area.
- Keep your pads clean and rotate between the two supplied pads as they become loaded or warm.
- Once polishing is complete, remove remaining polishing oils with GYEON Q²M Prep before applying a ceramic coating or other compatible protection.

Where does Q²M Polish 80 mm fit?
Q²M HeavyCut 80 mm → maximum foam-pad correction
Q²M Cut 80 mm → strong defect correction
Q²M Polish 80 mm → balanced correction and refinement
Q²M Finish 80 mm → final refinement and maximum gloss
Choose the full-size Q²M Polish pad for efficient work across larger panels and the 80 mm version for smaller areas where additional precision and access are required.
