Description
ADBL Bonnet is a ready-to-use car fabric and upholstery cleaner designed for quick, effective cleaning without the need for an extraction machine. Particularly useful on surfaces you don’t want to oversaturate, it makes maintaining headliners, fabric door panels, armrests, seats and other textile surfaces considerably easier.
Its advanced cleaning agents lift dirt and stains without negatively affecting the colour or feel of the material. Better still, Bonnet doesn’t require rinsing during normal maintenance cleaning and leaves no sticky residue behind.
That makes it an excellent option for refreshing your car’s fabric interior when a full wet-extraction clean simply isn’t necessary.
Perfect if…
- Your fabric seats are looking grubby but don’t need a full deep clean – Bonnet provides a straightforward way to refresh upholstery without reaching for an extractor.
- You’re nervous about getting your headliner too wet – its non-extraction approach is particularly well suited to fabric surfaces that shouldn’t be saturated.
- You just want to clean a small stain or dirty patch – there’s no need to set up an entire upholstery-cleaning system for a targeted job.
- Your armrests and fabric door panels pick up everyday grime – Bonnet is ideal for maintaining frequently touched textile surfaces.
- You don’t own a wet vacuum or extractor – apply, agitate and wipe the surface dry with a clean microfiber.
- You have Alcantara or suede-like surfaces that require careful cleaning – ADBL specifically identifies Bonnet as its preferred option for Alcantara and suede, provided the material isn’t oversaturated.
Why choose ADBL Bonnet?
- No extraction required – designed specifically for non-extraction cleaning.
- Ready to use – no measuring or dilution required.
- Ideal for headliners – clean fabric surfaces where excessive moisture is best avoided.
- Suitable for upholstery and carpets – useful for refreshing numerous textile surfaces throughout the cabin.
- Safe cleaning action – removes contamination without negatively affecting the colour or texture of the fabric.
- No sticky residue – leaves the material feeling clean rather than coated in cleaning product.
- Fresh fragrance – leaves behind a pleasant flowery scent.
- Alcantara compatible – ADBL recommends Bonnet for cleaning Alcantara without the need for rinsing.
How to use
Begin by thoroughly vacuuming the area to remove loose dust, grit, hair and other contamination.
Shake the bottle, then spray ADBL Bonnet onto a suitable textile brush or microfiber towel rather than unnecessarily saturating the material.
Gently agitate or wipe the surface to loosen the contamination. Once clean, blot and wipe the area dry using a clean microfiber towel.
Bonnet is ready to use and doesn’t normally require rinsing or extraction.
For headliners, Alcantara and other moisture-sensitive materials, use the product sparingly. Avoid soaking the fabric.
If you’re dealing with heavily soiled upholstery where dirt is deeply embedded in the fibres, ADBL recommends moving to an extraction-based cleaning process rather than repeatedly applying Bonnet. In those circumstances, ADBL Textile Rinse can form part of the deeper cleaning process.

Prestige Detailing Tip
Your headliner isn’t the place to go heavy with cleaning product.
Unlike a carpet or removable floor mat, a vehicle’s headliner contains layers and adhesives that you generally don’t want to saturate.
Apply Bonnet to your brush or microfiber rather than soaking the headliner directly, then work gently and methodically across the material.
And know when Bonnet isn’t the right tool for the job. If a seat or carpet is heavily contaminated deep within the fibres, repeatedly brushing more cleaner into it can simply move that dirt around. That’s the point at which a proper extraction clean becomes the better option.
