GYEON Q² Wax combines the satisfying application of a traditional car wax with the hydrophobic behaviour and durability associated with more modern paint-protection products.

Its fluorine-based formula creates an extremely water-repellent finish while adding gloss and slickness to the paintwork. With durability of up to six months, Q² Wax provides substantially more lasting protection than you might expect from a conventional enthusiast-focused wax.

Versatility is another of its strengths. Q² Wax can be applied directly to properly prepared, uncoated paint as your primary form of protection, or used as a top layer over an existing ceramic coating to add further slickness and water repellency.

Application is refreshingly straightforward. The product is supplied in a stick format, allowing it to be applied directly to an applicator before being spread across the paintwork in a thin, even layer.

Prestige Detailing Tips

• Preparation still matters. For maximum durability, thoroughly wash and decontaminate the vehicle before application. If necessary, correct the paintwork before applying protection.
• If Q² Wax will be your primary protection on bare paint, use GYEON Q²M Prep after polishing to remove oils and residue before application.
• Apply Q² Wax sparingly. Transfer a small amount from the stick to the supplied applicator and spread a thin, uniform layer across the paintwork.
• Allow the wax to cure on the surface for at least 30 minutes before removing the residue with a clean, soft microfibre towel.
• For maximum performance, keep the vehicle dry for at least 12 hours after application. Avoid exposing the freshly applied wax to rain or washing during this initial curing period.
• Q² Wax can also be used over a fully cured ceramic coating. Make sure the underlying coating has completed its specified curing period before introducing the wax unless GYEON explicitly states otherwise for that coating.
• Maintain the protected surface using a gentle shampoo such as GYEON Q²M Bathe to avoid unnecessarily degrading the wax layer.
