• Pair Q²M Polish with a medium or finishing polishing pad depending on the hardness of the paint and the amount of correction required. Always carry out a test section before committing to a particular combination.
• When refining paint after a heavier cutting stage, use only as much pressure and machine speed as necessary. The objective at this stage is to maximise clarity and gloss rather than aggressively remove additional clear coat.
• Remove polishing residue with GYEON Q²M PolishWipe EVO and inspect the panel carefully before moving on.
• If deeper scratches or more substantial swirl marks remain, step back to GYEON Q²M Compound rather than repeatedly polishing the defect with an unnecessarily mild combination.
• Once polishing is complete, thoroughly wipe down the paintwork with GYEON Q²M Prep to remove polishing oils and prepare the surface for your chosen protection.
