The Liquid Elements Centriforce V2 Red Heavy Cut Polishing Pad is designed for intensive machine polishing and the removal of heavier paint defects. Made from hard, abrasive foam, it is an excellent choice for working with heavy-cut compounds when tackling deeper scratches, severe swirl marks and other significant paint imperfections.
The innovative conical centre-hole design is one of the defining features of the Centriforce V2. It helps improve cooling during machine polishing while promoting a more even distribution of polishing compound. The design also helps concentrate the polishing action in the working area, making the pad more efficient during demanding correction work.
The red Heavy Cut foam is the most aggressive option in the standard Centriforce range, making it particularly well suited to heavy paint correction and abrasive compounds. Once the major defects have been removed, you can move to the yellow Medium Cut pad and then the green Soft Cut pad to refine the finish and maximise gloss.

The red Centriforce V2 is the pad to reach for when defect removal is the priority. Pair it with a suitable heavy-cut compound and work systematically in small sections, using controlled overlapping passes.
Because aggressive correction can leave behind its own polishing marks, don’t automatically expect the red pad to produce a perfect finish. Once the heavy defects have been removed, inspect the paint and follow with the Centriforce V2 Yellow Medium Cut Pad where further refinement is required. For maximum gloss, finish with the Centriforce V2 Green Soft Cut Pad and a dedicated finishing polish.
For the best results, keep the pad clean throughout the polishing process and use multiple pads when correcting an entire vehicle. A fresh pad will maintain more consistent cutting performance than a pad saturated with spent compound and paint residue.
