Description
ADBL Round Detailing Brushes are multipurpose cleaning brushes designed for tackling the small details, gaps and hard-to-reach areas that conventional car cleaning tools can struggle to reach. Suitable for both interior and exterior detailing, they’re available in three diameters so you can choose the appropriate brush size for the area you’re cleaning.
Each brush combines synthetic bristles with a plastic ferrule, providing effective agitation while helping reduce the risk of accidental contact from exposed metal components. From interior crevices and trim to exterior details and intricate wheel areas, they’re simple, versatile tools worth keeping within easy reach during a full detail.
Why choose ADBL Round Detailing Brushes?
- Three sizes available – choose between 17 mm, 25 mm and 31 mm diameters according to the area you’re cleaning.
- Interior and exterior use – suitable for a wide variety of detailing jobs around the vehicle.
- Ideal for intricate areas – designed specifically for details, gaps, crevices and other difficult-to-access sections.
- Synthetic bristles – provide effective agitation when used with an appropriate car cleaning product.
- Plastic ferrule – avoids the exposed metal collar found on some conventional brushes.
- Useful with detailing chemicals – ideal for agitating suitable interior and exterior cleaners in intricate areas.
- Simple size system – #8, #12 and #16 provide progressively larger brush diameters for different detailing tasks.
How to use
Choose the brush size appropriate for the area you intend to clean.
Apply your chosen detailing cleaner according to the product instructions. Depending on the job, this may mean applying the cleaner directly to the surface or working it into the brush.
Gently agitate the area with the ADBL Round Detailing Brush, allowing the bristles and cleaning product to loosen contamination from gaps, corners and textured surfaces.
Avoid applying unnecessary pressure, particularly when working on delicate interior or exterior materials.
Remove the loosened dirt and remaining cleaning solution with an appropriate microfibre towel or rinse the surface where required.
Rinse and clean the brush thoroughly after use, particularly when moving between different chemicals or heavily contaminated areas.
Allow the brush to dry before storage.
Prestige Detailing Tips
Choosing the correct size makes these brushes considerably more useful.
The 17 mm #8 is the smallest option and makes sense when access and precision are the priority.
The 25 mm #12 provides a versatile middle ground for general detailing work.
The 31 mm #16 gives you a larger working area when you need to clean broader sections more efficiently.
You don’t necessarily need to use the same brush throughout the entire vehicle. If you’re regularly detailing cars, keeping different brushes assigned to different jobs is good practice. A brush used around heavily contaminated exterior areas shouldn’t immediately be moved onto sensitive interior trim without being thoroughly cleaned.
The same principle applies when switching chemicals. Rinse the bristles properly rather than allowing one cleaner to remain in the brush before introducing another product.
When cleaning interior surfaces, let the cleaner and bristles do the work. Aggressive scrubbing isn’t automatically more effective and may be inappropriate on delicate materials.
For exterior detailing, these brushes are particularly useful where a wash mitt or larger cleaning brush can’t make effective contact. Their round profile allows the bristles to work into narrow gaps and intricate shapes.
ADBL also manufactures the Round Detailing Brush Pro system, but that’s a different product. The Pro range uses interchangeable brush heads with different levels of softness and a dedicated removable handle. These standard Round Detailing Brushes are conventional individual brushes and provide a simpler, more affordable option for everyday detailing.
