Description
ADBL Odour Destroyer is a ready-to-use odour neutraliser designed to eliminate unpleasant smells rather than simply cover them up with fragrance. Its formula works directly at the source of malodours, making it particularly useful for refreshing vehicle interiors affected by persistent or lingering smells.
Unlike a conventional car air freshener, Odour Destroyer incorporates an advanced compound that can reactivate under humid conditions, helping prolong its odour-neutralising action. Suitable for use in cars as well as homes and offices, it combines effective odour control with a pleasant perfumed finish.
Why choose ADBL Odour Destroyer?
- Targets unpleasant odours at their source – designed to neutralise malodours rather than simply disguise them.
- Long-lasting action – formulated to continue working after the initial application.
- Humidity-reactivated formula – an advanced compound can reactivate under humid conditions, helping extend the product’s effect.
- Ready to use – no dilution or mixing required.
- Broad range of applications – suitable for vehicle interiors as well as homes, offices and other enclosed spaces.
- Non-toxic formula – designed for straightforward odour treatment when used according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Choice of fragrances – Prestige Detailing currently offers Odour Destroyer in different scent options.
How to use
Before using ADBL Odour Destroyer, we’d recommend removing the source of the unpleasant smell wherever possible.
Vacuum the interior and clean any contaminated upholstery, carpets, plastics or other surfaces first. An odour-neutralising product works best as part of a proper interior-cleaning process rather than as a substitute for one.
Once the underlying contamination has been addressed, apply ADBL Odour Destroyer to the affected area according to the manufacturer’s directions.
Avoid unnecessarily saturating interior materials and allow the product sufficient time to work.
For persistent odours, repeat the treatment where necessary after the interior has dried and been reassessed.
Prestige Detailing Tips
Find the cause of the smell first. If an interior smells because of spilled drinks, damp upholstery, food residue or another source of contamination, clean that source before applying Odour Destroyer. Otherwise, you’re treating the symptom without fully addressing the cause.
Don’t confuse an odour neutraliser with an air freshener. If you simply want to add a pleasant fragrance to an already clean vehicle, one of ADBL’s dedicated car fragrances is the more appropriate choice. Odour Destroyer makes more sense when there’s an actual unwanted smell to tackle.
For odours originating in fabric seats, carpets or other textiles, thoroughly cleaning those surfaces first can make a substantial difference. Allow damp upholstery to dry properly as well — repeatedly adding fragrance to a moisture problem won’t solve it.
The humidity-reactivated aspect of Odour Destroyer is particularly useful in vehicle interiors, where changes in temperature and humidity are common. The formula is designed to reactivate under humid conditions and thereby prolong its action.
