The Liquid Elements Centriforce V2 Yellow Medium Cut Polishing Pad 150mm is a versatile all-round polishing pad designed for moderate paint correction. Its medium-density foam provides an excellent balance between cutting ability and finish, making it ideal for removing light to medium paint defects while leaving behind a clean, glossy surface.
The innovative conical centre-hole design improves cooling during machine polishing while helping to distribute polishing compound evenly across the working surface. Centrifugal force helps direct the polish back towards the pad, allowing you to use your compound efficiently while reducing heat build-up during polishing.
The yellow Medium Cut foam is particularly well suited to medium-cut compounds and is an excellent choice for one-step polishing or as the second stage of a multi-stage correction. It can remove moderate defects and scratches while providing a good level of gloss, making it one of the most versatile pads in the Centriforce V2 range.
The 150mm version features a 150mm Velcro backing diameter, with a larger 170mm foam diameter and approximately 25mm thickness. It is designed for use with polishing machines equipped with a suitable 150mm backing plate.

For light to medium defects, pair it with a quality medium-cut polish and work systematically in small sections using controlled, overlapping passes. It can also be an excellent choice for one-step correction, where the aim is to achieve a good level of defect removal while retaining a high level of gloss.
For heavier defects, start with the Centriforce V2 Red Heavy Cut or Blue Super Heavy Cut pad, then use the yellow pad to refine the finish. For the final stage, move to the Centriforce V2 Green Soft Cut Pad with a dedicated finishing polish to maximise gloss.
