GYEON Q² LeatherShield EVO takes leather protection a significant step beyond a conventional dressing or sealant, creating a durable ceramic barrier designed specifically for modern automotive leather.
Once applied, LeatherShield EVO helps protect your upholstery against everyday dirt, spills, UV exposure, wear and dye transfer from clothing. This makes it particularly appealing for light-coloured interiors, where staining and colour transfer can quickly become noticeable.
Despite the level of protection on offer, LeatherShield EVO doesn’t leave your seats looking glossy or feeling artificially coated. The invisible layer maintains the leather’s original colour, softness and factory-style finish.
With real-world durability of up to 18 months or 30,000 km, LeatherShield EVO is the longer-term alternative to Q² LeatherCoat REDEFINED and an excellent choice for owners who want to make their leather easier to maintain over an extended period.
Prestige Detailing Tips
- Q² LeatherShield EVO is designed for modern coated automotive leather with a closed structure. Do not use it on aniline, open-pore or other absorbent leather. If you’re uncertain about the material, test an inconspicuous area first.
- Preparation is essential. Thoroughly clean the leather with Q²M LeatherCleaner Natural or Q²M LeatherCleaner Strong and remove all cleaner residue before application.
- Make sure the leather is completely dry before applying the coating. The surface should also be cool and free from dust.
- Apply a generous amount of LeatherShield EVO using the supplied Q²M Coating Applicator, spreading the product evenly and working one section at a time.
- Allow the product to sit for approximately 3–5 minutes, then inspect the surface and remove any remaining residue with a clean microfibre towel.
- Once applied, leave LeatherShield EVO to cure for at least six hours before using the treated surface. Avoid sitting on or otherwise disturbing the coated leather during this initial curing period.
- Maintain coated leather using a mild leather cleaner rather than aggressive cleaning products. Regular gentle cleaning will help preserve the coating and its protective properties.
