GYEON Q²M PolishWipe EVO is a 310 GSM, double-sided microfibre towel developed specifically for removing polish residue and inspecting paintwork during the correction process.
Where a thick, plush microfibre can sometimes make residue removal less precise, PolishWipe EVO provides the controlled wipe needed after machine polishing. Its two-sided construction helps lift polishing oils and residue cleanly from the surface, making it easier to assess the true condition and finish of the paint underneath.
Its edgeless 40 × 40 cm design also eliminates conventional stitched edges from the working surface – particularly useful when dealing with freshly corrected or more delicate paintwork.
Whether you’re performing a multi-stage paint correction or simply refining light defects before applying protection, Q²M PolishWipe EVO provides a purpose-built alternative to using a generic microfibre towel for one of the most important stages of the polishing process.
Prestige Detailing Tips
- Use with: Q²M PolishWipe EVO is an ideal companion for GYEON’s polishing system, including Q²M Compound, Compound+ REDEFINED and Polish.
- Work on cool paint and use light pressure when removing polishing residue. Allow the towel to do the work rather than aggressively rubbing freshly corrected paint.
- Fold the towel into quarters and rotate it regularly. Once one section becomes loaded with polish residue, switch to a clean side.
- For a proper post-polishing inspection, remove the initial polish residue before using GYEON Q²M Prep to eliminate remaining polishing oils ahead of ceramic coating or other protection.
- Don’t confuse PolishWipe EVO with GYEON Q²M SoftWipe EVO. PolishWipe EVO prioritises controlled polish-residue removal; SoftWipe EVO prioritises plushness and softness for products such as quick detailers, spray sealants and coating maintenance products.
- Keep polishing towels separate from wheel, interior and general-purpose microfibres to minimise cross-contamination.
- Maintain with: Wash using GYEON Q²M TowelWash at up to 30°C. Do not use fabric softener, bleach or an iron, and GYEON advises against tumble drying.
