Description
ADBL Pre-Spray Pro is a highly concentrated cleaner designed for deep-cleaning car fabric upholstery and carpets, particularly when tackling stubborn, ingrained dirt and stains. Used before extraction, it helps dissolve contamination embedded within textile fibres so that it can be removed more effectively during the rinsing stage.
Its adjustable dilution makes Pre-Spray Pro suitable for anything from concentrated spot treatment to the pre-treatment of larger areas of upholstery. For a complete extraction-cleaning process, it pairs particularly well with ADBL Textile Rinse, which helps flush away the dirt and cleaning residues loosened during the pre-spray stage.
Why choose ADBL Pre-Spray Pro?
- Powerful stain-removing action – designed to tackle stubborn and deeply ingrained contamination in automotive fabrics.
- Highly concentrated formula – adjustable dilution makes the product economical and adaptable to different levels of soiling.
- Dedicated pre-spray cleaner – loosens contamination before extraction rather than relying on the extractor alone to do all the cleaning.
- Suitable for fabric seats and carpets – ideal for deep-cleaning common automotive textile surfaces.
- Can be used as a spot stain remover – a stronger 1:10 dilution provides targeted treatment for stubborn stains.
- Works with ADBL Textile Rinse – the two products form a logical pre-treatment and extraction-rinsing system.
- Available in 500 ml, 1 L and 5 L sizes – suitable for occasional enthusiasts as well as frequent and professional use.
How to use
Thoroughly vacuum the fabric, seat or carpet before introducing any cleaning solution. Removing loose dirt first prevents it from turning into unnecessary slurry once the surface becomes wet.
Prepare ADBL Pre-Spray Pro with warm water at approximately 40°C according to the level of contamination:
1:10 – stain removal
1:15–1:20 – pre-spray for very heavy contamination
1:30–1:60 – pre-spray for heavy through to fresher contamination
Apply the prepared solution evenly to the material.
Gently agitate the treated area with an appropriate soft upholstery brush to help work the solution through the fibres and loosen contamination.
Do not allow Pre-Spray Pro to remain in contact with the fabric for longer than approximately five minutes, and do not allow the product to dry on the surface.
Extract the dissolved dirt and remaining cleaning solution using an extraction vacuum with lukewarm water or an ADBL Textile Rinse solution.
Repeat the process or adjust the concentration where necessary for particularly stubborn contamination.
Always perform a colour-fastness test on an inconspicuous area before treating the entire surface.
Prestige Detailing Tips
Vacuuming properly before wet cleaning makes a bigger difference than you might expect. Sand, crumbs, dust and other loose contamination are much easier to remove while dry than after they’ve been mixed with cleaning solution.
Don’t automatically reach for the strongest 1:10 concentration across an entire interior. Pre-Spray Pro is concentrated specifically so you can adapt its strength to the job. Use the stronger mixture for stains that genuinely require it and a weaker pre-spray solution where the contamination is less severe.
The five-minute maximum contact time is important. Give the product enough time to loosen contamination, but don’t spray an entire interior and then leave the first seats sitting while you work elsewhere. Work systematically in manageable sections and never allow Pre-Spray Pro to dry in the fabric.
For a complete extraction-cleaning process, we’d pair it with ADBL Textile Rinse:
Vacuum → Pre-Spray Pro → gentle agitation → Textile Rinse + extraction → dry thoroughly
ADBL Textile Rinse isn’t simply another upholstery cleaner. Its job is to help remove the contamination already dissolved by Pre-Spray Pro along with remaining surfactant residue. It also has anti-foaming and wetting properties, making the two products particularly complementary during extraction cleaning.
Finally, don’t judge fabric solely by how dry the surface feels immediately after extraction. Moisture can remain deeper within seats and carpets. Give the interior adequate ventilation and drying time before closing the vehicle up for an extended period.
